Process — How To Buy

Three steps, no mystery

The same process we follow for a ₹25,000 lot and a ₹25 lakh block.

01

Submit KYC

Send your Client Master List (CML) from your broker, PAN, Aadhaar and a cancelled cheque. Takes about five minutes and is a one-time step.

02

Transfer Payment

We share a GST invoice and our verified company current account details. Payments go only to that account — never to a personal UPI, wallet or individual name.

03

Receive Shares

Shares are transferred off-market to your CDSL or NSDL demat, usually the same working day. Verify the ISIN independently on the depository before and after credit.

About — About StockWitty

Unlisted investing, minus the mystique

StockWitty is a distributor of unlisted and pre-IPO shares built for Indian retail investors who are tired of bland financial chatter. Most of this market still runs on WhatsApp forwards, vague quotes and screenshots. We publish an actual price, explain where it came from, and let you decide.

On every company we cover — NSE India, Tata Capital, OYO, Swiggy, PhonePe and dozens more — you get lot size, minimum ticket, valuation multiples, a financial history and DRHP status in one place. Buying is just as boring on purpose: KYC, payment to a verified company account, and shares credited to your own demat.

We are an information portal and a distributor, not a SEBI-registered investment adviser. So we will never tell you what to buy. We will tell you what a company earns, what the shares cost, how illiquid they are, and what could go wrong.

  • One published price — no hidden dealer markup
  • Payments only to a verified company bank account

“Asked about NSE India lot sizes on WhatsApp, got a straight answer with no sales push. Paid to the company account in the morning, shares were in my demat the same evening.”
RS Rohan Sharma Software Engineer, Bengaluru
“I checked the GST invoice, the bank details and the ISIN on CDSL before paying — everything matched. The pricing quoted was the pricing charged, nothing added later.”
MN Meera Nair Chartered Accountant, Kochi
“They told me upfront that unlisted shares are illiquid and an IPO may take years. That honesty is why I came back for a second lot.”

FAQ — Questions, answered

The things everyone asks us first

Still unsure? Message the team on WhatsApp — a person replies, not a bot.

What are unlisted shares?

Unlisted shares are equity shares of companies that are not yet traded on the NSE or BSE. They change hands privately — between employees holding ESOPs, early investors and buyers like you — at a negotiated price. Once the company completes an IPO, those same shares become listed and tradeable on the exchange.

How do I buy unlisted shares on StockWitty?

Share your CML copy, PAN, Aadhaar and a cancelled cheque for KYC, confirm the quantity and price on your quote, then transfer the amount to our verified company bank account. We credit the shares to your demat account off-market, usually the same working day.

Is it safe to buy unlisted shares?

The transaction itself is safe when it is done properly: payments only to a verified company account, shares delivered into your own demat account, and ISIN verified independently on CDSL or NSDL. The investment risk is separate — unlisted shares are illiquid, prices are negotiated, and an IPO may be delayed or never happen. Invest only what you can hold for years.

What is the minimum investment?

It depends on the lot size of the company. For NSE India, the minimum lot is 250 shares, which is about ₹4.90 lakh at the current price of ₹1,960. Other names start much lower — some lots are under ₹25,000.

How long does share delivery take?

For payments received before 2:00 PM on a working day, shares are typically credited to your demat the same day. Payments after cut-off or on holidays are settled the next working day. You get the delivery instruction reference on WhatsApp as soon as it is executed.

How is the price decided?

Unlisted prices are negotiated, not quoted by an exchange. We track live dealer bids and asks, recent block deal levels and secondary demand, then publish one all-inclusive price. There is no hidden markup added at the end — the price you accept is the price you pay.
